Alfa Romeo has released an image of its Gloria Concept, which will be heading to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show joining the debut of the production model 4C.

According to the Italian automaker, the Gloria Concept was built in collaboration with the European Design Institute (IED) of Turin and Alfa Romeo Style Center. It will debut at the Geneva Motor Show, but the Gloria Concept is actually designed for the North American and Asian markets.

“In effect, the saloon remains a symbol of elegance and prestige for these markets, associated with the idea of comfortable space both at the front and the rear, expressed by the length of the model,” Alfa Romeo said in a statement.

The Gloria’s overall size is similar to an Audi A5 Sportback, and the automaker also mentioned that it will be powered by a state-of-the-art V6 or V8 biturbo engine. Chances are, those engines are the same powerplants recently introduced in the new Maserati Quattroporte.
