The Alfa Romeo 4C sports car will be the inspiration for all future models from the Italian automaker, from its lightweight design to its 1750-cc engine with 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque.
According to Damien Dally, Alfa Romeo’s UK brand manager, the automaker will use the formula derived from the 4C for its new-generation models that is expected to begin debuting within 18 months. Dally also revealed that the first new model in the range will unlikely be the replacement for the Giulia, which possibly means that Alfa Romeo’s SUV will be launched first.
