The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is getting its finishing touches and is rumored to bow at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.

The Italian automaker has kept quiet about the convertible variant for its 4C sports car, which has been long rumored to be in development. Expect the 4C Spider to be nearly identical to its coupe counterpart, sporting a removable roof panel likely made out of carbon fiber. Inside, the 4C spider will sport a pair of bucket seats along with a flat-bottomed steering wheel and a configurable TFT screen that replaces the instrument cluster.

Powering the 4C Spider will be the same 1.75-liter engine found in the 4C coupe with 240 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Expect more information on the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider as we get closer to the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
